Cedar & Sage is a small, intentional team with over 150 weddings planned across Arizona.
We don’t take on more than we can give our full attention to, and every couple we work with gets people who genuinely care about getting it right.
Here’s who you’ll be working with.

Katie Mustard
Owner and Lead Planner
I started Cedar & Sage because I believe weddings should feel like the couple, not like a template. I care deeply about the people I work with, and I take the responsibility of planning one of the most important days of your life seriously.
Before I became a wedding planner, I spent seven years as a social worker. That season of my life taught me how to stay calm when things are hard, how to communicate clearly under pressure, and how to show up for people when it matters most. Those skills follow me into every wedding I plan.
I’m a rare Arizona native, married for 18 years with two kids who keep me humble. I planned my own wedding in three weeks, which either says a lot about my ability to execute under pressure or my complete inability to wait patiently. Probably both. When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll find me rewatching The Office, getting lost in a good book, or convincing my family we need to take another trip.
Above everything, my faith in Jesus drives what I do and how I do it. It’s why I care so much about the marriage, not just the wedding. And it’s why I’ll always treat your day like it’s the only one that matters.
Claire Schuh
Lead Coordinator
Claire is the kind of person who can read a room in seconds and handle whatever’s happening in it without anyone noticing. She brings a natural energy and enthusiasm to every event that makes the day feel alive, while quietly managing every detail behind the scenes.
She’s been passionate about event and wedding planning since she was ten years old, which means she has spent a long time thinking about how to make moments matter. She’s adventurous, deeply curious, and has travel plans her bank account is still catching up to. When she’s not coordinating weddings, you’ll find her at book club, karaoke, or out for a late-night drive with her favorite playlist on.


Sara Reta
Lead Coordinator
Sara has a gift for making people feel taken care of. From the moment she arrives on a wedding day, guests, vendors, and couples all feel it. She’s warm, steady, and completely unflappable, the kind of person you want next to you when the day is moving fast and the details are coming from every direction.
She’s a born and raised Arizonan, married for 19 years with three kids and two energetic boxers at home. Her faith, her family, and her Mexican culture are the foundation of who she is, and that warmth shows up in everything she does. Sara loves any reason to gather people together and celebrate, which is exactly why she’s so good at what she does.
